Aurora Maldonado

Hello, I’m Aurora Maldonado. I began this page when I was freshman at Lamar University. I am now an upcoming senior with a Social Work major. I hope to work with children in and out of the foster care system in the future. My ultimate goal is to aid those children obtain the resources they need to enjoy childhood while they can, and to later further their education and goals. An education in Social Work will arm me with the knowledge and skills to aid those I will encounter in this field, and it will allow me the insight to various social issues that I hope to advocate to change.

I realize that during my college years I will further grow into myself  and this is a time I know is important to document. In the future, I hope this site will reflect me and will become a source of connection to the diverse worlds around me. Join me on this four year journey.
